So, I Was IT Support Today

So, I Was IT Support Today

After driving Uber for seven hours (because you thought I did this full-time, huh?), I came home, rolled up my sleeves, and dove into the wonderful world of ecommerce tech. Today’s mission? Tweaking my website settings and adding a few shiny new features to level up my email and social media marketing game.

Here’s the thing about entrepreneurship: it’s all about data and information. The more data you can collect, the better you can understand your customers and create a buying experience tailored just for them. It’s like a treasure hunt, except the treasure is figuring out what makes people click “add to cart.”

The numbers side of this journey really brings out the nerd in me. It’s fascinating (and a little terrifying) how numbers on a screen can reveal so much about real-life habits. I watched this Netflix documentary called Buy Now, and let me tell you—the way they’ve dissected our shopping patterns is equal parts crazy and genius.

And now, here I am, trying to replicate that magic on a smaller scale. Analyzing data, spotting trends, and tweaking my approach to make it all work. If you can’t beat the big guys, well... might as well borrow a page from their playbook, right?

So, yeah, today I was IT support. Tomorrow? Who knows. That’s the beauty of building something from scratch—it’s never boring, and there’s always something new to figure out.
