Slow and Steady Wins the Race

Like I said when I started this journey: every day isn’t going to be action-packed. If we’re being real, the boring days should outnumber the exciting ones. I’m not chasing action; I’m chasing progress. And progress doesn’t always come with fireworks—it comes with the small, consistent steps that move you forward.
Take today, for example. I had to fix my shipping costs because, honestly, they were all over the place. It wasn’t flashy, but it was necessary. Now it’s streamlined, and we’re better prepared to handle orders smoothly. That’s progress.
But here’s where the excitement kicks in: I’m gearing up for Black Friday, and for the first time, I’ll be running paid ads. You want to test someone’s nerves? Tell them to put their hard-earned money behind advertising. It’s nerve-wracking!
Most people (and I used to be one of them) think they can just post on social media, beg their friends to share, and magically go viral. Let me break some hard news to you: that’s not enough. If you want to grow your business, you have to invest in it. Yes, that means spending money—and not just once, but consistently.
Paid ads are a leap of faith, but they’re also a tool. You’re not just spending money; you’re creating opportunities to reach people outside your immediate circle. Growth isn’t free, but it’s worth it.
So, here’s to the boring days that build the foundation, and here’s to the risks that lead to rewards. Progress isn’t always glamorous, but it’s always worth it.
