Can I Be Honest With You?

Can I Be Honest With You?

This blog post almost didn’t happen! Not because I didn’t have anything to write about, but because I’ve realized something about myself: my natural instinct seems to resist consistency. Strange, right?

It’s easy to get excited about something when there’s an external motivator, like money. Don’t get me wrong, money is a great motivator! It pushes us to hustle, to show up, and to keep going. But for me, there’s something even more powerful about doing something purely for the sake of showing up—about sticking to something just for the satisfaction of staying consistent.

There’s a different kind of joy that comes from committing to something that doesn’t immediately “pay off” in the traditional sense. It’s fulfilling to know you’re building a habit, honoring a commitment, or simply proving to yourself that you can.

So, yes, this week I received orders (thank you for the love, by the way!), I packed them with care, and I updated my website. But what feels just as significant? Sitting down and typing this blog post, even when it almost didn’t happen.

Here’s to consistency—for its own sake and for what it teaches us about dedication, discipline, and passion. Whatever your “thing” is, I hope you show up for it too.
